Sarah Jessica Parker has her own line of shoes (of course!)
“Sex and the City” may have made Manolo Blahnik a household name but the long finished television show can now be credited for creating an all new shoe star. Yes, it was announced via press release yesterday that Sarah Jessica Parker has just revealed her newest endeavor- a collection of impossibly cute shoes that every woman will want to add to her spring wardrobe.
"I've taken inspiration from things in my life such as the grosgrain ribbons I tied in my hair as a girl, to the flower accents from the 'Sex and the City' wardrobe, to references to classic styles from the late '70s and early '80s. I'm a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to come," said the 48-year-old actress in a statement..
The SJP collection will hit Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com on Feb. 28. There are 25 styles and prices of the made-in-Italy line range between $195 and $500. Shoe lovers never fear- you’re getting a lot of quality for that “affordable luxury” price. The shoes are made in Italy and were created hand in hand with Parker’s business partner George Malkemus, who is also CEO of Blahnik USA. The collection also includes a few handbags and a classic trench coat that is available in beige and navy. Along with the shoes, there are SJP handbags retailing for $245 to $375 and a figure-flattering trench coat in navy and tan that sells for $495.
I love her shoe collection, very girlie, sophisticated, statement pieces and classy.
